Turner joins forces with Multifleet

Aston Martin Racing works driver Darren Turner is proud to confirm new sponsor Multifleet Vehicle Management among his key backers for the 2019 season.

The British ace, a three-time Le Mans 24 Hours class winner, has signed a long-term agreement to become an ambassador for the Warwickshire-based organisation – one of the largest vehicle leasing and fleet management businesses in the UK.

Turner’s racing season begins on Friday (March 15), when he returns to action with the #95 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE in the inaugural 1000 Miles of Sebring, Round 6 of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The eight-hour event, which takes place on the famous Sebring Raceway – a former WW2 airbase in Florida – represents Darren’s first race of the year as well as a return to the car he last raced at Le Mans in June.

Multifleet was established in 2011 and has shown phenomenal growth through its pioneering online fleet management brand, runyourfleet.com. The company now manages over 25,000 vehicles, and is listed in the FN50 as one of the top 50 contract hire businesses in the UK.

Multifleet Managing Director Steve Whitmarsh said: “The whole team at Multifleet is very excited about our new long term partnership with Darren as we prepare for some exciting racing & events over the next three years. Darren is a proven ambassador for his partners, and we are looking forward to working closely with him as we look to raise our brand to a new level.”

Darren Turner said: “It’s fantastic to be able start a new racing year with the support of such a fresh and innovative company behind me,” said Turner. “In lots of ways 2019 is a new chapter in my career, with some exciting new targets to hit, as well as some very familiar ones! So it seems the perfect time to begin my relationship with Multifleet.”
